Although he misses Lorelai, Isaac has been adjusting well to having his big sister gone at school all day. He is learning to play more independently but also enjoying some one on one time with Mom. He has been doing a lot of coloring, painting, and playing with his trains and action figures.
We were disappointed to learn that Isaac's soccer class was cancelled. Parks and Rec said that we will be among the families receiving first priority next season. Bryan will still be taking him out to run around and work on some basic skills. It will be good boy-time with Dad. Iz will be taking swim lessons in October to build on what he learned this past summer.
Some of Isaac's favorite activities are playing at the park, going on nature walks, playing video games and Transformers with Dad, and tying things up.
