The Daily Noodle?
The Daily Noodle is the name of a newspaper that was distributed around Pinwheel House. Pinwheel House was home to a variety of characters on the television show Pinwheel, which ran on Nickelodeon in the 1970s and '80s. It was similar to Sesame Street in that it featured live actors performing alongside puppets and also video and animated shorts. It was a very silly and memorable show.The Daily Noodle was run by the brother and sister team of Smitty and Sal. They were always on the lookout for the elusive Admiral Bird and reported all the goings on around Pinwheel House. After watching the show, I would make my own Daily Noodles for my Dad, reporting the events of the episode. So, as a lover of nostalgia and because I hope to update this blog daily (-ish), I am calling this blog about our everyday life The Daily Noodle.
